ICM locomotive series 1800:
In 1987 there was a drawing of a new 1800 series locomotive. It never made it, except in model.

Back in 1987, in the passenger car repair shop, I found a drawing of a new locomotive, based on the new intercity trains. |

This drawing of course was a joke. Who made it I still don't know,
maybe someone local in the mechanical department, or someone higher on
the ladder at headquarters. Any way I showed this drawing to the owner of my favorite model shop. |

He then made a model of it. The model shop does no longer exist, but
it was model shop "de Sprinter", in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. A nice item for my Fun and Fake article.
